We have been having the PERFECT Fall weather these last 2 weeks; such a warm welcome as we got moved into our new home.

I know I am definitely not the only one when I say I have tried sooo many chili recipes (and pretty much loved them all) but we wanted to find one of our own rather than mooching off of munching on other people’s recipes.

There are 3 main ingredients, plus a couple of spices, all of which you probably have in your fridge/pantry now! If not, you won’t be spending more than $10-15 to get all the stuff you’ll need to make it – just quick a Kroger Click List pickup away, my lifesaver!

We personally love to serve our chili with shredded colby jack, sour cream and Fritos. This specific chili is a GREAT base to add all of your and your family’s favorite extras. Plus, it would be a HIT at your chili cook off’s and family get-togethers (already tested this method, believe me, people will love it 😉 ).

I know you’re ready to get to this yummy recipe, so without further ado… here it is!

Easy Fall Chili

Total Prep/Cook Time: About 20 minutes, 4-6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1, 29 oz can of black beans
  • 3, 15 oz cans of diced tomatoes with green chilies  we used 1 hot, 2 mild

Seasonings:

  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  • First, cook and brown the ground beef in a skillet. Season with salt and pepper and once cooked, add to a large cooking pan. Drain and rinse the black beans with cold water and add to pan. Add the 3 cans of diced tomatoes with green chilies and all of the spices to the pan. Season with more salt and pepper. Bring all ingredients in pan to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite sides like sour cream, cheese or fritos!

That’s it folks! Add more or less spices depending on your tastes. I hope this chili warms up your “chilly” fall evenings… sorry I had to haha!

These signs are SO cute to frame and either hang up on your walls or place on your mantle & tabletops. I have mine on my fireplace mantle with some light-up pumpkins, and my favorite Bath & Body Works fall candle. 🎃

I LOVE this black frame from Amazon (Prime 2 day delivery is the bomb), it looks so elegant! But you can definitely get multiple frames for cheaper at the Dollar Tree.

Then print these and ta-da! You’ve now decorated the inside of your home for Fall. It’s a win!
